Furnace replacement sized and installed right
When your furnace is past saving, we size the new one to the building, install it cleanly, and test it before we leave.
A new furnace is a big purchase, and most people put it off until the old one dies in the middle of a cold snap. It's worth looking at sooner. A tired furnace costs you in repairs and gas bills long before it quits.
RCI has installed furnaces and heat pumps across the OKC metro for 27 years. We're family-owned, we install all major brands, and we'll tell you straight whether you actually need a new one.
When replacement makes sense
- Repairs are getting frequent and expensive
- Heating feels weaker every season
- The unit struggles or fails during cold snaps
- Rooms heat unevenly no matter how you set it
- Bills keep rising with no change in use
- It runs longer and longer to reach the set temperature
- The furnace is nearing the end of its service life
Installation versus replacement
A new installation is for new homes, additions that need their own heat, or a property changing heating type, such as adding a heat pump. A replacement swaps out a failing or outdated unit. Either way, the equipment only performs as well as the sizing and the install.
Sizing matters more than brand
A furnace that's too small runs constantly and still can't keep up. One that's too big short cycles, wears out early, and leaves the house feeling uneven. We size to the building's real heat load, not to the sticker on the old unit.
Ductwork
A new furnace pushing air through leaking, undersized, or unbalanced ducts will disappoint you. We run a full-service sheet metal shop, so if the duct system needs work we fabricate and fix it as part of the job. That's often the change that finally evens out the hot and cold rooms.
Commercial heating changeouts
Offices, restaurants, schools, and commercial buildings across the metro. We handle package units, split systems, and large air handlers, and we schedule the work to keep your doors open.

- 5WalkthroughFilter habits, thermostat settings, and the maintenance schedule that keeps the new system running right.
Should I replace or keep repairing?+
Look at the cause of the problem, the age and condition of the unit, and what repairs are realistically going to cost over the next few years. We lay that out honestly and let you decide.
Furnace or heat pump?+
A gas furnace is the familiar choice for Oklahoma winters. A heat pump handles both heating and cooling and can cut operating cost, especially paired with a furnace as backup. We'll go over both for your house.
Will a new furnace fix my cold rooms?+
Only if the ductwork can deliver the heat. If ducts are the problem, we'll tell you and can fix them during the install.
How long does a replacement take?+
Most residential changeouts are done in a day. Jobs with duct or venting changes can take longer, and we'll tell you up front if yours will.
